Is there any way to determine which field is dominant on a clip? We may have reversed field dominance in some clips that didn't need reversing.ģ. Can you isolate the culprit by fixing the clip that is flickering, or can a clip that is reversed look okay and cause the clips that follow to flicker?Ģ. One thing that differs is that we included a clip early on in draft 2 that wasn't in the first draft.ġ. We've finished creating all of the separate dv-avi files that comprise our 2-hour video, and put them all together and burned them to a DVD - for the second complete draft DVD, and now some of the scenes are flickering that seemed okay in the last draft.

Unfortunately, we learned some of the solutions mid-way through the project, and fixed some of them by going back and reversing field dominance for the clip. And we used a lot of still photos which I just recently learned to use the Flicker Removal setting.

We also used a lot of screen captures made using Windows Encoder, which I translated to DV-AVI using Windows Moviemaker (thanks to your tutorial). With your sage advice, we began importing from the DVD using MPEG Streamclip. Once we purchased copies of Steve's book on PE 7, we learned that our previous method of popping the mini-DVD out of the camcorder and importing the VOB file directly into PE4 was importing problems. We had some problems early on resulting from teaching ourselves how to use Premiere Elements 4 while working on this project. I have some trouble-shooting questions that probably involve field dominance issues.

G spot video codec
